ALDI & George Weston Foods Limited (GWF) wish to advise that there is a labeling inconsistency with respect to the allergen advisory statement on the outer box and inner packaging of these products. The allergy advisory statement present on the outer box reads:

MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF TREE NUTS

This statement is correct.

The allergy advisory statement present on the inner packaging of these products reads:

MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF PEANUTS AND TREE NUTS

We wish to advise consumers that this statement is not correct. We have undertaken a thorough risk assessment and these products DO NOT contain traces of peanuts. We sincerely apologise for any concern we may have caused allergic consumers and their carers.

We are working with ALDI to correct this as a matter of urgency.
