Nestle introduced the MAGGI Super Noodles range into the market place in January, 2005. The MAGGI 98% Fat Free Super Noodles were introduced as an addition to the range in February, 2007. Since that time the following allergens have been formulated into the products as part of the ingredients:
Beef flavoured MAGGI Super Noodles which come in a cup contain WHEAT, PEANUT and SOY.
Chicken flavoured MAGGI Super Noodles which come in a cup contain WHEAT, BARLEY, SOY and EGG.
Beef flavoured MAGGI 98% Fat Free Super Noodleswhich come in a cup contain WHEAT, PEANUT, SOY, MILK and SULPHITES.
Chicken flavoured MAGGI 98% Fat Free Super Noodles which come in a cup contain WHEAT, SOY, EGG, MILK and SULPHITES.
Allergic individuals should also take note of the advisory statement on all the MAGGI Super Noodles range.
It is important to note that the ingredients in MAGGI 2-minute Noodles (sold in a bag or as a multi pack) are different from those in the MAGGI Super Noodles in a cup.
AAI reminds allergic consumers to always read the ingredient list of products purchased due to changes in recipes. If a food pack looks different, be even more careful about reading the ingredient list before consuming the product.
